All About Everywhere is a growing collection of articles on ecotourism, responsible travel, slow travel and the great outdoors. Some are exclusive to this site, while others were originally commissioned by other publications.
I’m an award-winning travel editor, writer and photojournalist. My work appears in leading national and international newspapers, travel magazines and websites including National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, The Independent, Travel Africa, Visit Wales and Responsible Travel. I’m also the author or co-author of several guidebooks for independent travellers published by Rough Guides in the UK. My latest book, The Flightless Traveller, is published by Greenfinch, an imprint of Quercus Books.
Africa is my main focus. I’ve explored over 25 African countries so far and I’m always planning the next adventure.
When I’m not writing about Africa, I cover slow and flight-free travel, eco-friendly activities, authentic cultural experiences and green places to stay in Great Britain, Australia, the Americas and elsewhere.
